Levant Music Project Fundraiser Success

Thank you to the Manja family of Pennsylvania for organizing a special fundraiser for the Arabic Music Retreat through their Levant Music Project. They held a concert and reception at the State Theater Center for the Arts in Easton, Pennsylvania on September 14, 2019.

An audience of 150 attended the event, and enjoyed a concert by four members of the Manja family who participate at the Arabic Music Retreat every year, as well as two other Retreat participants, a guest musician, and our Executive and Artistic Director, Simon Shaheen. Attendees – donated to the Retreat’s Scholarship Fund to enable more participants to attend.
