Updated March 17, 2023 – The Arabic Music Retreat aims to make its in-person event safe for everyone. We care deeply about the health of our participants and faculty, some of whom have compromised immune systems. We ask that all participants and faculty take extra care in the weeks before the Retreat to minimize the possibility of Covid-19 exposure.
In addition to complying with all CDC and Mount Holyoke College guidelines, mask wearing is encouraged and will be required during certain events. Testing prior and during the Retreat may be required. All participants and faculty are expected to comply with our policies. Anyone not willing to do so will not be allowed to attend.
Anyone testing positive for Covid before the Retreat will not be allowed to attend. Anyone testing positive for Covid during the Retreat will have to leave campus immediately. No refunds will be given in such cases.
These guidelines are subject to change. A detailed policy and plan will be published here and will be sent to all registered participants as the Retreat dates get closer. We are looking forward to another successful and safe Retreat.
