How to Register

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the Arabic Music Retreat will not convene as an in-person event in 2020. We are planning a modified mini Retreat event in August that will be presented on zoom.  We will post more information here about registration soon.

We plan to hold a conventional in-person Retreat at Mount Holyoke College in August , 2021.

Fees: The fees for participating in the Retreat are based on your housing choice. The fee covers all classes, and group activities. Meals are covered starting with dinner on August 15th, and ending with lunch on August 22nd. (Note commuting participants do not receive breakfasts in their package).

Note: the following fees are for 2019. They will be updated for 2021 when registration opens.

$1,249 – Sharing a double air-conditioned hotel room in the Willits Hallowell Conference Center – These rooms are sold out for the 2019 Retreat
$1,114 – Single occupancy dormitory room (shared bath; no air-conditioning)
$1,015 – Double occupancy dormitory room (shared bath; no air-conditioning)
$864 – Commuter rate (no housing; no breakfasts provided on this plan)

Audition Recording: If you are attending the Retreat for the first time, you will need to provide us with a short (2 minutes maximum) recording or video of you playing the instrument you will study at the Retreat. How to Pay Your Retreat Fee:

You can pay your registration fee by check or U.S.$ Money Order (information below), or use your credit card to pay your registration fee using the button below. Note: If you are paying on-line from outside the U.S. we will contact you to cover any additional foreign exchange/transaction fees. If you plan to write a check from Canada, please contact arabicmusicretreat@gmail.com for payment instructions.

The full registration fee is due by July 15, 2019. No refunds  will be given after July 25, 2019 for any reason.
