How to Register

Welcome to registration for the 2019 Arabic Music Retreat!

This year the Retreat will take place from August 3-10, 2019 at Mount Holyoke College in Massachusetts.

You can view and download the Retreat registration form in the link below. The form is a PDF document which is ‘fillable’. You can either print out the PDF and fill it out by hand and scan or mail it, or fill it out on-line, and save it to your computer. Then you can mail it or e-mail it to: arabicmusicretreat@gmail.com.

Work-Study Scholarships: The Retreat has a limited number of partial work-study scholarships available to those with financial need. (Note: Total family income is included when assessing financial need.) Scholarship applications and a $100 deposit are due by June 1, 2019.

Fees: The fees for participating in the Retreat are based on your housing choice. The fee covers all classes, and group activities. Meals are covered starting with dinner on August 3rd, and ending with lunch on August 10th. (Note commuting participants do not receive breakfasts in their package).

$1,249 – Sharing a double air-conditioned hotel room in the Willits Hallowell Conference Center (these rooms always sell out and are available on a first-come first-served basis)
$1,114 – Single occupancy dormitory room (shared bath; no air-conditioning)
$1,015 – Double occupancy dormitory room (shared bath; no air-conditioning)
$864 – Commuter rate (no housing; no breakfasts provided on this plan)

Audition Recording: If you are attending the Retreat for the first time, you will need to provide us with a short (2 minutes maximum) recording or video of you playing the instrument you will study at the Retreat. How to Pay Your Retreat Fee:

You can pay your registration fee by check or U.S.$ Money Order (information below), or use your credit card to pay your registration fee using the button below. Note: If you are paying on-line from outside the U.S. we will contact you to cover any additional foreign exchange/transaction fees. If you plan to write a check from Canada, please contact arabicmusicretreat@gmail.com for payment instructions.

You are welcome to pay the full fee with your registration. A deposit of $100 is due by June 1, 2019. The full fee is due by July 15, 2019. No refunds  will be given after July 25, 2019 for any reason.
