The 20th Arabic Music Retreat was another success. Participants from around the world converged at Mount Holyoke College for an inspiring week of music-making. Participants took part in two concerts, including a public concert featuring the Retreat Orchestra and Faculty in Chapin Hall. This was the first time we used this larger concert facility on campus. Thanks to participant Ameer Armaly, we live-streamed our public concert to viewers around the world. Our faculty worked hard to teach and inspire the participants. The food was delicious, and despite some hot days, the campus was beautiful. We look forward to the next Retreat and will post the dates as soon as they are available. Thanks to all who took part and contributed to this wonderful week.
